To Live and Work Each Day with Purpose

Posted on April 6, 2017, 12:59 pm

What does it mean to live and work each day with purpose? We recently asked a few staff members and residents of Heritage Hill that very same question. The responses varied, but all had the same basic sentiment: To come in and make the residents happy and put a smile on their face. Other answers included: o Always making things better and to better yourself. o Get the job done while being a part of the team o Taking care of family and for them to care for me o To have things to do for others Purpose in action at Heritage Hill: Last December, Allison and the other staff members wanted to do something special for Christmas as a token of appreciation. So they put their heads together and decided to help the residents create their own canvas paintings. They created a picture of a sunrise and the State of Michigan, with a star to represent Caro. They chose the design because Heritage Hill is located on the East side of the state where the sun rises, and we are lucky to be a part of such a great organization that serves the entire State of Michigan. Now the residents have canvas painting events for each season, they can showcase for all to see! What a great example of how to live and work each day with purpose!
